Environment Policy

The Management of Hard Anodising Surface Treatments Ltd are committed to fulfilling its compliance obligations, ensuring environmentally sound practices and protection of the environment in every aspect of its business, and where economically and technically viable reducing our carbon footprint, this commitment includes:

  • A strict commitment to comply with all relevant environmental legislation, laws, codes of practice and industry regulations.
  • Planning, organising, conducting and monitoring company operations to maintain and improve the Company's commitment to pollution prevention.
  • Assessing, in advance of commencement of work, the environmental aspects and impacts of all projects and jobs and the collection of appropriate monitoring data throughout the business process while work is ongoing. Monitoring will continue after the cessation of operations until such time as determined by the Regulatory Authorities.
  • Minimising waste and the promotion of re-use and recycling where at all possible. Disposal of other inert and hazardous wastes will always be in accordance with Environment Agency requirements and through licensed carriers.
  • Reducing energy and resource consumption and, where possible, encouraging work with suppliers and contractors who themselves have sound environmental policies.
  • Ensuring employees at all levels of the business are aware of and actively involved in meeting the company's environmental aims and objectives.
  • A commitment to continually improving environmental performance, through the setting of objectives and targets that are regularly monitored and reviewed via the Company management review procedure, and the implementation of an environmental management system designed to satisfy the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001.

To ensure the requirement laid out in the integrated management system are met, this policy and its obligations are communicated to all employees and is available to other interested parties on request.
